Bio
ERIN M. BROWN, MA, MFA -- an author, educator, and speaker for 40 years -- is an author of ten books and multiple curricula, courses, and programs; a conference presenter since the 80s on reading, writing, and spelling; and a former professor of communications developing writing, critical thinking, and leadership curriculum at three universities.

Speaking to audience all over the world both live and on radio, Erin has been quoted in hundreds of magazines, newspapers, and websites, and her popular book, Simplified Writing 101: Top Secrets for College Writing Success, has been used across the world.
Education & Professional Engagement...
Erin has a terminal degree in writing (MFA), a master’s in rehabilitation working with special students (MA), and a degree in education (BM). She is a member of the International Literacy Association (ILA); the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD); and the Author’s Guild, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA). Erin writes fiction, speaks at conferences for authors, and is an international judge for author and writer organization competitions and anthologies.
Erin homeschooled 10 of her children who are now grown and lives and writes from Michigan, US, where (when not teaching or speaking) you can find her with her collies and mini Australian Labradoodle, drinking coffee and writing.
