Father Spitzer is a Catholic priest in the Jesuit order and the President of the Magis Center of Reason and Faith. He is a prolific writer with 10 books (3 more in the works) and numerous published articles. Father Spitzer speaks regularly and is a frequent guest on radio and television programs. He even has his own weekly program on EWTN, Father Spitzer’s Universe. Before coming to Magis, Father served for 11 years as the President of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and prior to that taught at Seattle University and Georgetown University. He has several graduate degrees, including a Ph.D. in philosophy from Catholic University of America. Father Spitzer has an eclectic set of academic interests ranging from philosophy of science (big bang cosmology, relativity) to organizational ethics.
