    Bio

Having taught for Homeschool Connections for over 20 years and with two Masters-in Humanities and Theological Studies-from the University of Dallas, TOB expert Monica Ashour brings a wealth of expertise regarding setting a firm foundation for children through St. John Paul's Theology of the Body. A single woman, Ashour is the author of 28 books based on the Theology of the Body, including The Body Matters for Pre-school through 8th grade, and brings a vision of TOB unlike any other speaker. She takes seriously papal biographer, George Weigel's quote about all Catholic teachings can be taught from a Theology of the Body Perspective.

    Endorsement

More than ever, Gender Ideology, which Pope Emeritus Benedict says leads to atheism and the loss of the dignity of the human person, is pressing hard on children. This talk, while only indirectly countering Gender Ideology, sets a firm foundation for the future of children so that they are not swept away by dangerous messages, messages that counter the truth of God's design for the body and thus counter the truth of the Incarnation itself. Come hear this uplifting, compelling talk which gives the truth of the human person, made in God's image and likeness. "My life--vocabulary, outlook, parenting--changed when I heard this perspective on St. John Paul's Theology of the Body." -Gabbi, mother in Austin, Texas

Theology of the Body for Tots, 'Tweens, and Teens (CHC 2021)

Most people mistakenly think the Theology of the Body is about marriage and sexuality. This talk gives the broader perspective that St. John Paul intended: giving a Sacramental View of Reality. This talk gives concrete ways of reaching children with a broad view of who they are and God's movement in their lives.

Going off to College: Keeping the Faith (LAHS 2020)

St. John Paul's Theology of the Body is crucial in this culture which gives messages opposed to the truth of the body and the truth of sexuality. Miss Ashour, international speaker, author of 28 books, Homeschool Connections professor, gives a poignant overview of TOB and addresses issues that graduating seniors and those in college may face. With compelling responses based on Natural Law, this short video equips your young adult to be ready to face going off to college.
